Town Square BK is staging its 23rd annual Greenpoint Children's Halloween Parade and Spooktacular Party on Saturday, Oct. 31, listed as an NYC Parks event. It is a neighborhood tradition that sends costumed kids through the streets of north Brooklyn.

The free parade steps off at 12:15 p.m. in front of St. John's Lutheran Church, 155 Milton Street, near Manhattan Avenue. Marchers head to Manhattan Avenue, walk down to Driggs Avenue, and return to the church. Costumed children of all ages are welcome.

Inside the church, a ticketed Spooktacular Party runs in timed 50-minute sessions at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Expect party games, arts and crafts, live music and candy. Tickets for kids are $25 in advance or $30 on the day; parent tickets are $10 in advance or $15 day-of.

RSVPs go through Zeffy. Families who only plan to march in the parade are asked to register for any time session. Questions can go to hello@townsquarebk.org or 347-559-1410.

With the event running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., families can pair a morning party session with the midday march.
