Hun Chung Lee: Home at R & Company

R & Company in Tribeca is presenting Home, a solo exhibition of new ceramic and concrete works by Hun Chung Lee. The show runs from September 10 to November 6, 2026, at the gallery's space at 82 Franklin Street.

The exhibition takes the domestic interior as its subject, approaching it as a place of return. Its central question is what happens when a person comes back after time away: the self they meet has been shaped and changed in the interval, and home becomes the setting where that change is recognized.

Lee works here in two materials with very different characters. Ceramic is formed by hand and fired, while concrete is cast and set, heavy and dense. Placing them together allows the show to speak to the dual nature of home as both a soft refuge and a structure that accumulates the weight of time.

The gallery presentation coincides with a showing of Lee's work at MANITOGA / The Russel Wright Design Center, the upstate site associated with the designer Russel Wright. Visitors interested in how domestic space relates to landscape may find the two presentations worth considering together.

R & Company is open Monday to Friday from 11 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 12 PM to 6 PM, and it is closed on most major holidays. With the show closing on November 6, there are roughly three weeks left to see it, and its Franklin Street location makes it an easy stop on a Tribeca gallery walk.
