Brooklyn Nets played Portland Trail Blazers without Damian Lillard on Sunday at home at Barclays Center. The Nets' Yuta Watanabe was out for the game. The game continued with Nets leading, but the point difference did not widen and Nets led 84-80 at the end of the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, Seth Curry, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving all hit 3-pointers to open the scoring, and Nets went on to win 111-94 over Blazers. Seth Curry scored a career-high 29 points off the bench, Kevin Durant scored 31, Kyrie Irving had 22 points, and Simmons only scored two points but had 12 rebounds and eight assists. While everyone is getting better, Joe Harris has been very poor in the last four games, making 3/24 field goals. He has dropped more than 10% of his stats in both field goal% and 3-point% from his career averages this season since returning from injury. With Seth, who has been the hero of the day, and Mills, if Harris can get back into his groove, Nets will have one of the best shooting teams in NBA. Yuta Watanabe and T.J. Warren, who have been sidelined with injuries, are expected to return this week. Yuta Watanabe currently leads NBA in 3-point%, and T.J. Warren is averaging 15.5 points for his career. The Nets are finally going to have their best lineup. Expect them to advance to the top of the standings.
