Artwalk NY, the annual benefit for Coalition for the Homeless, is in its 32nd year. Online bidding in its silent auction closes today, Monday, Nov. 2, at 4 p.m. ET.

The centerpiece is the Artist Plate Project. Forty artists each made an original work on a bone-china plate. The roster includes KAWS, Jenny Holzer, Mickalene Thomas, Kenny Scharf, Derrick Adams and the Haas Brothers. The plate is a small canvas, so each artist's signature style is packed into a compact, collectible object.

The gala took place Thursday, Oct. 29, at The Grill in the Seagram Building in Midtown. This year's honorees were KAWS, Julia Chiang and Rich Kleiman.

Bidding happens entirely online, so you can take part from anywhere. For New Yorkers who follow contemporary art, it is a chance to bring home a piece by a well-known name, with proceeds supporting the Coalition's work for homeless New Yorkers. With only hours left, anyone with a favorite plate should place a bid soon on the official Artwalk NY auction page.
