Docked at the northwest end of Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park, Fireboat is a bar built aboard a retired fireboat. The vessel is the 1961 FDNY Governor Alfred E. Smith, now serving drinks instead of putting out fires. It comes from Crew, the hospitality group behind Grand Banks and The Yacht Club, and debuted in June 2026.

The theme is Caribbean-inspired waterfront drinking. The drink list runs to spritzes, crisp bubbles, island cocktails, summery wines and frosty beers on ice. The boat's old fire hoses have been converted into taps, a nice nod to its past life.

The food is built for bar-side snacking: salt cod hushpuppies, fresh ceviche with chips, BBQ prawn skewers and a signature jerk chicken sandwich, with piña colada ice cream for dessert. Both the drink and food menus are posted as PDFs on the Crew website.

There are no reservations for regular seating. All of it is held for walk-in guests, first come, first served. Larger groups on the upper deck and private events can be arranged through an inquiry form on the official page.

In the summer months Fireboat is open 4pm to 10pm on weekdays and 11am to 10pm on weekends. As of early November 2026 it is closed for the season. It sits a short walk from DUMBO and Brooklyn Heights, with New York Harbor views as the backdrop, which makes it one to keep in mind for next summer.
