Wendell Castle: Living
This exhibition reconstructs the home of sculptor and furniture maker Wendell Castle and ceramist Nancy Jurs, using a 1973 House Beautiful feature on their Scottsville, New York, house as its starting point. Curated by their daughter Alison Castle, it includes family-lent works not shown publicly since, arranged to suggest kitchen, bedroom, living and dining spaces, so the furniture can be seen as it was meant to be used.

Hun Chung Lee: Home
Hun Chung Lee presents a solo show of new ceramic and concrete works at R & Company's Franklin Street space. The pieces treat the home as a place of return, asking how a person meets themselves differently after time spent away. The exhibition runs alongside a separate presentation of Lee's work at MANITOGA / The Russel Wright Design Center, making a good pairing for design-minded visitors.

Misha Kahn: All Intensive Purposes
Misha Kahn marks ten years with Friedman Benda in this show, whose title twists the phrase "all intents and purposes" to stress the process over the destination. The works range from a cast-metal dining table and an onyx low table to copper-knitted chandeliers, marble carved as drapery, upholstered pieces and Alpi plywood objects. Improvisation meets serious craft, offering a look at how far one artist's own logic can travel.
