Central Park Fall Foliage Tracker

The Fall Foliage Tracker is a live map that shows where the color is right now across Central Park. It sits inside the Central Park Conservancy's fall guide, which the nonprofit that cares for the park publishes each season.

The map is updated by the Conservancy's arborists, the staff who look after the park's 19,000 trees. Each area is labeled with one of four stages: No Change, Changing, Peak or Post-Peak. In a park this large, that makes it easy to pick a section that is at its best and build a walk around it instead of wandering and hoping.

The same fall guide lists a few other things to pair with a visit. The Central Park Farm Stand runs every Saturday through October 31 and sells fresh, seasonal produce in the park. The Central Park Conservancy Shop stocks cozy layers, totes and Park-inspired tees for fall.
