FAD Market Holiday Pop-up Returns to Empire Stores in DUMBO, Brooklyn, NYC

From November 30 through December 20, FAD Market, a curated makers market, sets up its holiday pop-up at Empire Stores, 55 Water Street in DUMBO, Brooklyn. The dates are listed on the organizer's official site.

FAD Market is built around fashion, art and design, and it gathers independent makers under one roof. The same venue has hosted monthly FAD pop-ups this fall, in September, October and November. According to the official page for the fall edition, each one brought more than 35 makers, designers and small creative businesses from New York and beyond. Shoppers found handmade jewelry, apparel, bath and body care, tableware and artisanal packaged food.

The market sits on the ground floor of Empire Stores, in an industrial arcade inside one of DUMBO's best-known buildings on the historic waterfront. Neighbors include Time Out Market, Cecconi's, ABC Kitchens and West Elm. Time Out Market houses more than 20 food vendors, and the organizer also points to its rooftop views. After shopping, visitors can walk to Brooklyn Bridge Park or ride Jane's Carousel.

The venue is reached by the F train to York Street, the A or C to High Street, or the NYC Ferry to Dumbo/Fulton Ferry. FAD Market is free and open to the public, and the organizer says pets are welcome at its Empire Stores pop-ups. RSVPs go through the newsletter page on its site.
