FAD Market, short for Fashion, Art and Design, is a roving makers' market that sets up pop-ups around Brooklyn. This month it is back at Empire Stores in Dumbo for its November fall edition, with a longer holiday run to follow.

The fall pop-up takes place Saturday, Nov. 7, and Sunday, Nov. 8, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. More than 35 makers, designers and small creative businesses from New York and beyond will be selling. The organizers list handmade jewelry, apparel, bath and body care, tableware and artisanal packaged food among the goods. The market is set in the industrial arcade on the ground floor of the building, in Dumbo's historic waterfront district.

The holiday pop-up returns to Empire Stores from Nov. 30 through Dec. 20. FAD Market also has holiday dates at St. Paul in Cobble Hill on Dec. 5–6, 12–13 and 19–20.

Admission is free and open to the public, and pets are welcome. The organizers invite visitors to RSVP through the FAD Market website.
Empire Stores is at 55 Water Street. The nearest subway stations are York Street (F) and High Street (A, C), and the NYC Ferry stops at Dumbo/Fulton Ferry.
The building is home to Time Out Market, Cecconi's, ABC Kitchens, West Elm and Dumbo House. Time Out Market has more than 20 food vendors and a rooftop. Brooklyn Bridge Park and Jane's Carousel are nearby for anyone who wants to keep exploring after shopping.
