Nepenthes New York, in Manhattan's Garment District, received the first delivery of the Engineered Garments Workaday Fall/Winter 2026 collection on October 31. The pieces are available both in the store and online.
Workaday is the Engineered Garments line built around everyday work clothing. This first delivery includes denim in 13 to 15 ounce weights, items made from deadstock-sourced fabrics, and workwear. Denim at that weight suits the colder months ahead and tends to develop character the more it is worn.
Deadstock fabric is often a one-time opportunity, since the same cloth usually cannot be sourced again. That gives those pieces a limited quality that regular seasonal runs lack, and they pair easily with workwear staples for a New York winter wardrobe.
Engineered Garments was founded in New York by Daiki Suzuki, and Nepenthes, the Japanese company behind the label, runs the Manhattan shop on West 38th Street. For Japanese-speaking New Yorkers and fans of the brand, it is a place to see the line in the city where it began.
Shoppers who can't get to Midtown can browse the first delivery online. Nepenthes New York shares later arrivals through its Instagram account and link page.
