Williamsburg

Native New York coffee chain

Hungry Ghost is a New York coffee shop that has 13 locations throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan. Founded in 2012 by a Turkish immigrant in Prospect Heights, it has grown into a warm community spot in each respective location. Hungry Ghost partners with Stumptown Coffee, as well as other local businesses, to serve high-quality beans and food to their patrons. The East Williamsburg location is usually crowded, but quiet. If you can find a seat, the warm, yet focused, atmosphere lends itself to concentrating on work for several hours.

Innovative bagel store breathing new life into the New York bagel world

LEON'S BAGELS opened at the end of 2023 along Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg and quickly became a popular store with long lines of customers every day. With a clean white exterior and a simple, yet striking green logo under the eaves, it is hard to believe that this is a bagel store, but the store has a sophisticated appearance. The first store opened in Manhattan's Greenwich Village, and a second store opened soon after in Williamsburg. The name LEON, which is also used in the store name, was inspired by the owner's grandfather, who valued community. The store's theme is "Nothing Fancy," based on the belief that only simple and delicious bagels can unite people, and stylish original goods such as key chains, caps, and tote bags with the words "Nothing Fancy" designed on them are also available for sale.
