A classic New York City souvenir! A cookie specialty store with a cult following!

This upscale patisserie is located on the border of Manhattan's SoHo and West Village neighborhoods. Chef David Zaquine, who previously held the position of station chief at a Michelin restaurant in France and a luxury hotel, spent five years to open this popular store after a full commitment.

Upon opening the striking blue door, one is first surprised by the jewel-like display of sweets, including Danish bread with its wavy form and cakes filled with beautiful layers in glass jars.

Behind the glass window is the kitchen, where visitors can enjoy watching the pastry chefs at work in meticulous detail. Inside, there is an eat-in space with several seats, where you can enjoy champagne, wine, and tea, which can only be tasted in France. The interior design is all imported from France, so you can enjoy an authentic French atmosphere while in New York. Open until midnight, you can visit for dessert after a long night of drinking.

Innovative bagel store breathing new life into the New York bagel world

LEON'S BAGELS opened at the end of 2023 along Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg and quickly became a popular store with long lines of customers every day. With a clean white exterior and a simple, yet striking green logo under the eaves, it is hard to believe that this is a bagel store, but the store has a sophisticated appearance. The first store opened in Manhattan's Greenwich Village, and a second store opened soon after in Williamsburg. The name LEON, which is also used in the store name, was inspired by the owner's grandfather, who valued community. The store's theme is "Nothing Fancy," based on the belief that only simple and delicious bagels can unite people, and stylish original goods such as key chains, caps, and tote bags with the words "Nothing Fancy" designed on them are also available for sale.
