NY Weekly, Nov 2–8, 2026: Nara's Big Return and Akari at 75
With the marathon and Halloween behind us, New York turns to gallery season. This week Yoshitomo Nara returns to Chelsea with his first major solo here in nearly a decade, and the Noguchi Museum opens its Akari show in Long Island City. We've also flagged two small shows closing soon, a new Ludlow Street restaurant, the Rockefeller tree's arrival, and a few drops worth knowing. Japan-connected picks come first.
